Alfasaga

Alfasaga Farm, Icelandic Horses

Centuries ago, the Vikings sailed to Iceland with a horse. Since the day this rugged steed set foot on the rocky shores, it has remained pure. The Icelandic horse. Strong and steadfast, and naturally five gaited, the Icelandic is powerful enough for men, gentle enough for children, and a dream to ride.

For over a decade, Alfasaga has bred horses first for temperament, followed closely by conformation, gaits and color. Our line is deep and diverse, with great genetic strength. We have the largest selection of first prize stallions in the United States, and a herd that is stunning in both talent and character.
